Set Default Suspenses

HawkSoft CMS enables you to set default Suspenses for specific types of transactions. A suspense will automatically be created when the selected actions are performed, but can be modified or removed if needed.

You can set Suspenses to auto-create for the following tasks:

Inserting a policy
Editing client information that generates a Change Form
Inserting a claim
Changing policy status to Prospect, Quote, or New


To configure default Suspenses

1. Click Setup > General Configuration > Default Suspenses.
2. For each Action, select a user to Suspend To, the number of Days before the suspense becomes active, and the Priority level.
3. Click OK to save.
